
There was really no reason to play anymore. By the beginning of the expansion, however, you already know all there is about the world and all that is left to do is watch some pretty scenery and play around with the same mechanics every other open world game has.


And I have to say that Guerilla Games did their best with that concept - you really feel like a tribal hunter in an unexplored world of wild animals, hostile tribes and things you don't really understand. I played Zero Dawn all the way through when it came out on PC, because I really liked the idea of playing a stone age hunter-gatherer and the futuristic post-apocalyptic angle helped offset my historical knowledge of the ancient world. And I kind of get where the eurogamer reviewer is coming from. I personally wouldn't trust those 9/10s, coz they don't really mean anything anymore.
